My babies.

Ottawa Update 39

Okay, okay I’ll be honest with you...none of those are my real babies. In fact the closest of any of them to being my baby is that last one. It is a baby squirrel who’s barely any bigger than an egg and who lives in my yard. He seems to have no parents and is constantly attacked by crows trying to eat him so I have decided to take care of him as long as he poses for pictures.

So why all the kids and why no updating for so long? Well for one school is over and I’m far too busy being unemployed to tell you about the excitment going on around here, but aside from that I was doing stuff over the last few weekends. Two weeks ago I attended the Canadian Association of Journalist’s 2011 conference held here in Ottawa and was happily pointing out to some of the biggest names in Canadian news all the things that they are doing wrong.

Last weekend Hakuba came to Canada. I headed out to Toronto to visit my brother and his kids but also my old buddy Nick. He’s the madman behind both Hakuba Powder Lodge and a three of the cutest kids I know.

Since I haven’t written in a while, since I don’t feel like writing anything now and since most of my audience can’t read, I thought I’d throw down some of my recently acquired photojournalistic skills and string together some kinda theme of my past week. The top two pics are my nephews, the next three are Nick’s kids and the last is Dan Jr. enjoy them, take care and I’ll get back to you next time.
